Chevron Vane Demister

Chevron Vane Demister depends on inertia and gravity effect of liquid drop in flue gas. When flue gas with liquid drop goes through wave channel, the flow will be changed directions continuously. Under the inertia and gravity, gas and liquid will be separated. Then liquid drops will be collected on the vanes and drain into washing tank under gravity effect after accumulating, also solid on the vanes will be washed into washing tank.

Chevron Vane Demisters are widely used in chemical industries such as wet flue gas desulfurization, petroleum distillation towers, pharmaceutical evaporation systems, acid mist treatment etc.
