Product Description

NHD leaf filter mainly consists of vessel, head, filter element, liquid collecting manifold, high level tank, pressure relief pot and hydraulic fast open device etc. The filter element is made of plastic grids wrapped by stainless steel perforated plate, which is installed with collecting liquid tube.

During filtration, slurry is pumped into vessel, suspending  solid  in  coarse slurry is separated on the surface of cloth and forms cake; meanwhile, fine filtrate penetrates cloth and goes to collecting liquid manifold through collecting liquid tube, then flows into high level tank, finally overflow into fine liquid vessel. Leaf filter will stop filtration and release pressure in vessel at a filtration time or pressure. Meanwhile fine liquid stored in high level tank counter flows downwards. Fresh cake is  discharged  into  suspending  liquid after back-flush, and will settle in the cone bottom, and then discharge out.
