The Chevron Vane demister operates on the inertia and gravity of liquid droplets in flue gas. As gas flows through the wave channels, directional changes separate liquid from gas. Droplets collect on the vanes and drain into the washing tank, while solids are washed away.
Description:
Principle of Chevron Vane demister: it depends on inertia and gravity effect of liquid drop in flue gas. When flue gas with liquid drop goes through wave channel, the flow will be changed directions continuously. Under the inertia and gravity, gas and liquid will be separated. Then liquid drops will be collected on the vanes and drain into washing tank under gravity effect after accumulating, also solid on the vanes will be washed into washing tank.
